My Top Picks For Eco-Friendly Amazon Prime Day Shopping
There’s this little thing you may have heard of…Amazon.com? For better or for worse, it has become the go-to for online shopping. And once a year Amazon holds a special 24 sales event called Amazon Prime Day where thousands of products including a wide variety of eco-friendly items are sold sometimes for a deep discount. Since many people I know participate in Amazon Prime Day shopping, I decided to write this list of my favorite eco-friendly Amazon Prime items for home, office, travel, kids, and…basically everything you can think of.

What is Amazon Prime?
Here’s a quick explanation of Amazon Prime if you don’t know what it is. This is a membership program you can join for an annual fee of $119 (or $59 if you’re a student!) which allows you to order a plethora of items from Amazon with free 2-day (and sometimes even same-day) shipping. You also get access to thousands of free movies and TV shows, Kindle books, and something like 2 million free songs on Amazon Music. If you do the math on how much you pay for shipping items throughout the year alone it’s well worth the annual fee.

One such product release I’m particularly excited about is the Moon and Back line of organic baby and kids clothing by Hanna Andersson. We love Hanna Andersson clothing but they can be pricy. So it’s exciting that they’ve made this entry level line which still uses organic cotton and, according to their website,
“…fabric that is free from 100 of the most harmful chemicals and pesticides and meets the world’s leading textile-processing standard for organic fibers.”
While I don’t love what Amazon has done in general to small brick-and-mortar businesses, it has been a huge help to our family especially when our kids were really little and I just didn’t have time or energy to go shopping for all our essentials.
It’s also been a great way to shop green as it offers a huge variety of eco-conscious products!
